Job Summary: Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physician for the Department of Hospital Medicine in Jersey Shore, PA.

Job Duties:

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 7am - 7pm
• ICU: Open
• Procedures: Not Required

Geisinger Jersey Shore is a Level IV trauma center with 25 beds and a helipad for transport of critically injured patients to higher-level care facilities. As a hospitalist, you'll have access to advanced medical technology and resources, with opportunities for research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

Position Details:

• Interview and assess patients, including symptoms, medical, and family histories.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for injuries and illnesses. Prescribe medications as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient histories, examinations, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Work is primarily in a clinical and office environment. The role includes responsibilities for ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
