TeamHealth Telemedicine - Inpatient Nocturnist Opportunity

Want to practice inpatient medicine from the comfort of your own home?

TeamHealth has a tele-hospitalist opportunity for a full-time, board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician with a North Carolina medical license who resides in the United States. This role involves providing remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System hospitals in Western North Carolina. Hours are from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and responsibilities include:

1. Performing virtual patient exams with onsite nursing staff
2. Entering admission orders
3. Prescribing medications
4. Documenting patient diagnosis, treatment plans, etc., using the hospital's EMR
5. Communicating with patients, nursing staff, and consulting with ED physicians on site
