Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the IBD program, including clinical operations, research, and education.
• Develop a multidisciplinary, patient-centered IBD care model.
• Lead and grow a robust clinical research program with institutional support.
• Mentor junior faculty, fellows, and trainees in practice, academics and research.
• Collaborate across surgery, pathology, radiology for integrated care.
• Maintain active clinical practice in IBD.

Banner University Medicine Center-University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix (BUMC-UACOMP) is seeking a dynamic and visionary academic leader to serve as an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialist within our Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology. This academic health science center offers a culture of collegiality and robust infrastructure supporting translational research. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the IBD program, including clinical operations, research initiatives, and educational programs.
• Develop and expand a multidisciplinary, patient-centered IBD care model.
• Lead and grow a robust clinical research program with support from institutional infrastructure.
• Mentor junior faculty, fellows, and trainees in clinical practice, academic development, and research.
• Collaborate with colleagues across specialties including surgery, pathology, and radiology to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain active clinical practice in IBD.
• Collaborate with Division Chief of Gastroenterology/Hepatology to identify strategic planning
