Banner University Medicine Center-University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix is seeking an IBD Specialist to provide academic and clinical leadership within the Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology. This physician-scientist or clinical leader will shape the future of IBD care, drive innovative clinical research, and mentor the next generation of academic gastroenterologists.

Qualifications

MD or DO with board certification in Gastroenterology.
Eligible for AZ licensure.
Proven track record in IBD clinical care and academic scholarship.
Strong record in clinical or translational research in IBD.
Demonstrated leadership with mentorship experience.
Eligibility for Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the IBD program, including clinical operations, research, and education.
Develop a multidisciplinary, patient-centered IBD care model.
Lead and grow a robust clinical research program with institutional support.
Mentor junior faculty, fellows, and trainees in practice, academics and research.
Collaborate across surgery, pathology, radiology for integrated care.
Maintain active clinical practice in IBD.
Collaborate with Division Chief to identify strategic planning.
