Job summary

Rendr, a multi-practice medical group serving New York City's diverse communities, seeks Internal or Family Medicine physicians to deliver high-quality clinical care across more than 100 offices in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, and Nassau County.

You will work under medical leadership guidance, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses while providing preventive care and health coaching to patients.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• New York State license (unrestricted).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other care as needed.
• Explain procedures and test results to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Provide health and wellness guidance including diet and activity.
• Immunize patients against preventable diseases.
• Maintain detailed notes and test results for each visit.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Offer compassionate support for health concerns.
• Prepare official health documents or records as needed.
• Participate in Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and trainings.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Job Overview:

We are offering employment opportunities to Internal or Family Medicine Physicians who are interested in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in the diverse communities that we serve. Essential Functions:

• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
• Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
• Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
• Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
• Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
• Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
• Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
• Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Chinese required.
• MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board-certified or board-eligible.
• Current and unrestricted New York State license.
• DEA required.
