Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare-related industry preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, analytics, customer support, or business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly and quarterly physician compensation modeling to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payment processing.
  • Administer physician compensation in accordance with physician employment agreements, management service agreements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the physician compensation inbox and update relevant changes in internal systems such as Access databases and Smartsheet.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation-related policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Serve as a point of contact for compensation-related questions, providing information, guidance, and issue resolution support.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and analytical support for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the physician support service desk, including ticket management and timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Support Microsoft's Power BI administration, including user access, security maintenance, data loads, quality assurance reviews, and testing.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to help end users understand physician compensation processes and Power BI reporting tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Physician Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration, analysis, and execution of physician compensation models across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring physician compensation is accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements. The analyst serves as a key business partner in support of process improvement initiatives designed to enhance the physician compensation experience for key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly and quarterly physician compensation modeling to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payment processing.
  • Administer physician compensation in accordance with physician employment agreements, management service agreements, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.

Experience
  • Two to five years of experience in a healthcare-related industry preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, analytics, customer support, or business operations.
  • Experience with physician services consulting in a multi-site physician practice preferred.
  • Experience supporting physician compensation experience preferred.

This role operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires regular use of computers, phones, printers, copiers, and other office equipment. The position may involve extended periods of sitting and computer use, along with occasional stooping, bending, mobility for office-related tasks, and lifting materials up to 20 pounds. The work environment may occasionally be fast-paced or stressful, and some evening or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Two to Five (2-5) years’ experience in a healthcare-related industry.
  • Two to Five (2-5) years’ combined experience in an FP&A, Accounting, analytics, customer service, and/ or administrative focused roles.
  • Experience with physicians services consulting in a multi-location physician’s practice is preferred.
  • Experience in physician compensation preferred.
Performance Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting.
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface and build relationships with various departments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel and ability to create Powerpoint presentations and word documents.
  • Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers) via strong communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

Equipment Operated:

Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment:

Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, stooping and bending to files and supplies, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional evening or weekend work.
