GI Alliance is seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst to administer and analyze compensation models across the organization. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contracts and regulatory requirements, partnering with stakeholders to improve the compensation process.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly modeling, system administration (Access, Smartsheet), Power BI support, and developing training materials for end users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required.
  • 2–5 years in healthcare-related industry and financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or analytics preferred.
  • Experience with physician services consulting and physician compensation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

  • Model monthly and quarterly physician compensation to ensure accurate, compliant payments.
  • Administer compensation per employment agreements, MSAs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage physician compensation inbox and update internal systems (Access, Smartsheet).
  • Produce ad hoc reports and support internal stakeholders with data analysis.
  • Support Power BI administration including user access, data loads, QA, and testing.
  • Create training materials to help end users understand compensation processes.

Position SummaryThe Physician Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration, analysis, and execution of physician compensation models across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring physician compensation is accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements. The analyst serves as a key business partner in support of process improvement initiatives designed to enhance the physician compensation experience for key stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage monthly and quarterly physician compensation modeling to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payment processing.Administer physician compensation in accordance with physician employment agreements, management service agreements, and applicable regulatory requirements.Monitor and manage the physician compensation inbox and update relevant changes in internal systems such as Access databases and Smartsheet.Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation-related policies, procedures, and workflows.Serve as a point of contact for compensation-related questions, providing information, guidance, and issue resolution support.Perform ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and analytical support for internal stakeholders.Oversee the physician support service desk, including ticket management and timely resolution of inquiries.Support Microsoft’s Power BI administration, including user access, security maintenance, data loads, quality assurance reviews, and testing.Develop and deliver training materials to help end users understand physician compensation processes and Power BI reporting tools.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.ExperienceTwo to five years of experience in a healthcare-related industry preferred.Two to five years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, analytics, customer support, or business operations.Experience with physician services consulting in a multi-site physician practice preferred.Experience supporting physician compensation experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of finance, accounting, and business analysis principles.Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.Effective communication, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and functions.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.Strong process orientation and ability to translate plans into action.Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis role operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires regular use of computers, phones, printers, copiers, and other office equipment. The position may involve extended periods of sitting and computer use, along with occasional stooping, bending, mobility for office-related tasks, and lifting materials up to 20 pounds. The work environment may occasionally be fast-paced or stressful, and some evening or weekend work may be required.Company ExpectationsProduce quality work within established deadlines, with or without direct supervisionInteract professionally with employees, customers, and suppliersContribute effectively as a team member on assignments and projectsWork independently while maintaining clear communication and coordination with colleagues and other departmentsQualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required.EXPERIENCE:Two to Five (2-5) years’ experience in a healthcare-related industry.Two to Five (2-5) years’ combined experience in an FP&A, Accounting, analytics, customer service, and/ or administrative focused roles.Experience with physicians services consulting in a multi-location physician’s practice is preferred.Experience in physician compensation preferred.Performance Requirements:Solid understanding of finance and accounting.Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface and build relationships with various departments.Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel and ability to create Powerpoint presentations and word documents.Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers) via strong communication skills.Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.Process orientation with the ability to put plans into action.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and operational issues, both verbally and in writing.Comfortable interacting and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as well as part of team.Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.Work Environment: Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, stooping and bending to files and supplies, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.Mental/Physical Requirements: Normal office environment.
