Position Summary: This position performs complex professional coding for specialty or multi-specialty physician practices, evaluating medical records and ensuring accurate code assignment per national guidelines. Responsibilities include analyzing medical information, coding diagnostic and procedural data, ensuring compliance, mentoring staff, and managing work independently.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, specialized training or associate’s degree, 5+ years of complex coding experience, and active certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT) from AHIMA or AAPC.

Preferred Qualifications: Radiology Certified Coder (RCC) or other specialty certifications.

Additional Details: Remote work available in specified states, flexible hours between 7 am – 7 pm, Monday to Friday. The role emphasizes productivity and accuracy, with opportunities for training and leadership within a supportive team environment.
