About the Role

The Clinical Solutions Division of Elsevier is seeking a Physician Clinical Executive to support solutions involving physician workflows and performance for healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical, HIT, and Clinical Informatics experience, along with knowledge of Clinical Solutions portfolio. Responsibilities include providing clinical expertise to support sales efforts, develop presentations, participate in industry forums, and gather customer feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Support sales teams with clinical and product expertise to achieve sales goals using a consultative approach.
  • Collaborate with Value-Added Resellers to promote Clinical Solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights with internal teams.
  • Participate in training initiatives and customer feedback collection.
  • Assist in expediting sales by providing clinical support to potential customers using EMR systems.
  • Create and deliver presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Attend client meetings and trade shows.
  • Collect and analyze outcome measures to demonstrate product value.
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities, including speaking engagements and white papers.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proven clinical experience with HIT and Clinical Informatics.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license.
  • Board certification, preferably in Primary Care; Clinical Informatics certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, FHIR, HL-7, and CRM tools.
  • Experience with Clinical Solutions products and EMRs.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex information.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Additional Information
  • Position can be based in most US metropolitan areas with access to a major airport.
  • Reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Executives.
