Responsibilities

• Retrieve incomplete physician charts for completion.
• Update charts after physician work and dictation.
• Scan reports for deficient charts in the deficiency system.
• Document number of delinquent charts and forward reminders to physicians.
• Make follow-up calls and remove physicians from the deficiency system after completion.
• Retrieve, file, and organize medical records; answer telephone requests.
