Summary

Orlando VA Healthcare System's Specialty Service is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cardiologist. You must be an excellent communicator and team player who is adaptable to the needs of a growing medical center.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending completion of training or license requirements may be tentatively selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are met. Current VA-employed physicians who met the initial qualification standards are deemed qualified.

Basic Requirements

• United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may be appointed only if qualified citizens are unavailable, per VA Policy.
• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an approved medical school.
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency Training: Completion of an approved residency in Cardiology, leading to board eligibility.
• Additional requirements for residents and PRPs are detailed in the original description.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years in Non-Invasive Cardiology, Board-certified.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed, including light lifting, vision, hearing, and emotional stability.

Duties

• This is an ongoing open continuous announcement.
