Responsibilities

• Performs revenue cycle tasks: billing, claims filing, data entry, and payment posting.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Submits clean claims to insurers electronically or by paper.
• Processes reports and patient accounts with high accuracy.
• Interacts with patients to explain balances and payment options.
• Verifies insurance coverage and benefits; coordinates with insurers to resolve discrepancies.
