Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP or PA from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP or ANCC) required.
• 3+ years outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Primary Care.
• 2+ years delivering virtual care.
• Licensed in at least 2 Oscar States; FL license required; TX/OH/NJ/GA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority with physician collaboration for complex cases.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and open communications with patients and providers.
• Utilize tools for virtual exams and remote monitoring.
• Participate in collaborative care with nursing, medical staff, and supervisors.
• Attend required meetings and support operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring Physician Assistants to join our remote Virtual Health Assessment team.

About the role:

Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care.

You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Hours:

We offer full-time schedules across 4-day (10-hour) and 5-day (8-hour) options, with day and mid-day shifts available (ranging from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Specific shift choices and lunch breaks will be selected during the application process.

Work Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia. While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $116,400 - $145,500 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting


• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients


• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers


• Use tooling to allow virtual \"exams\" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics


• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable


• Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands


• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features


• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program


• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)


• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care


• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care


• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States: Must have FL License -Preferred: TX, OH, NJ and/or GA Licenses

Bonus points:

• Compact RN license (if an APRN)


• Experience working with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools


• Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states
