Oscar Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a part-time capacity. You will provide high-quality virtual care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and support patients using remote monitoring tools.

The role reports to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment. Ideal candidates hold a DNP/FNP/ENP/PA with board certification and at least 3+ years in outpatient primary care, including 2+ years of virtual care.

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC).
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care; 2+ years delivering virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority within collaborative practice with Physicians.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and communicate results to patients and providers.
• Utilize remote home monitoring tools and virtual examination capabilities.
• Participate in collaborative care model with nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and behavioral health clinicians.
• Attend required meetings to support patient care and service line All Hands.
• Provide feedback to improve workflows and product features.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

About the role:

Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care.

You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Part‑Time Shift (20 hours/week is required):

• 4x5 | 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• 2x10 | 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
• 2x10 | 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Pay Transparency:

Rate for this role is $65.00 - $75.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, with complex patients
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
• Use tooling to allow virtual "exams" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics
• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States:
• Must have FL License
• Preferred - TX, OH or NJ
• Bonus Points:
• Compact RN license (if an APRN)
• Experience working with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools
• Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states
