Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ seeks a Physician Assistant to join our team of Trauma Surgeons within Banner Medical Group. The PA will round on patients in the Trauma room, Surgical Trauma ICU, and hospital floor, and participate in preoperative and postoperative care.

Qualified candidates must be board certified, licensed or eligible in AZ, and have 1–2 years of Critical Care or Trauma Surgery experience. The role offers day and night shifts on a full-time basis with comprehensive benefits.

We provide care to a varied group of patients with traumatic injuries, acute and general care surgical pathologies. Our PA will round on patients in the Trauma room, Surgical Trauma ICU, and hospital floor; see patients in the general surgery and trauma acute care clinic and provide Surgical First Assist in the OR. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a collaborative environment; one that thrives in a highly integrated and innovative setting; and a desire to focus on patient excellence.

Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
• 1-2 years' experience in Critical Care or Trauma Surgery
• Full-time
• Day and Night shifts coverage on rotation
