Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ seeks a Physician Assistant to join a team of Trauma Surgeons within Banner Medical Group. The PA will round on patients in the Trauma room, Surgical Trauma ICU, and hospital floor; see patients in the general surgery and trauma clinic and provide Surgical First Assist in the OR.

The ideal candidate has board certification as a PA, AZ licensure or eligibility, and DEA-prescribing privileges, with 1–2 years in Critical Care or Trauma Surgery.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a Board-Certified Physician Assistant.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in AZ (active AZ license preferred).
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license are required.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients in the Trauma room, Surgical Trauma ICU, and hospital floor.
• See patients in general surgery and trauma acute care clinic.
• Provide Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room.
