Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time roles in the Springfield and Joplin, MO area. A highly competitive sign-on bonus up to $15K is available, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of urgent care or ER experience.
• Experience treating pediatric and adult patients.
• Ability to perform minor procedures and read EKGs/X-rays.
• Active NP or PA licensure and board certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with Mercy-GoHealth and Mercy systems for patient care.
• Document care in the Epic EMR system.

Competitive Salary & Hourly Rates Plus

• Daily Volume Bonus: This bonus is paid monthly and based on patient visit metrics met per shift – to reward you on those busier days!
• Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to 5% of your clinical base salary, based upon customer satisfaction scores and quality measures.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants: Minimum 18 months of full-time experience (as a NP or PA) in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
• Experience in treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), Preliminary reads on EKGs, and X-rays (required)
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
