Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Mercy, is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time roles in the Springfield and Joplin, MO area. You will deliver high-quality urgent care in our state-of-the-art centers, collaborating with Rad Techs and Medical Assistants to provide efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience.
• Pediatric and adult patient care experience required.
• Competence with minor procedures (suturing, casting, splints) and basic read of EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services across pediatric and adult populations.
• Collaborate with radiology, labs and EMR teams to ensure timely care.
• Support imaging, labs and EMR workflows in fast-paced centers.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants: Minimum 18 months of full-time experience (as a NP or PA) in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
• Experience in treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), Preliminary reads on EKGs, and X-rays (required)
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
