Job summary

Premise Health in Thief River Falls, MN, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide primary and light occupational health care at our on-site Health Center. You will conduct exams, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with a team to support employee wellness.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, no weekends, generous PTO, competitive benefits, and CEU allowance to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification is required.
• ARC-PA accredited PA program graduate.
• State licenses and DEA license as applicable.
• BLS/ACLS certification required per contract scope.
• At least three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory, occupational health, family practice, or ED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops care plans, records progress, ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates with physicians and health teams.
• Prescribes treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists when needed.
• Maintains accurate health records and documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
