Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a physician to provide professional medical care to patients in outpatient offices and inpatient hospital settings. The role involves call coverage, accurate medical documentation, and adherence to hospital policies and bylaws.

The physician will participate in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, maintain records, and engage in community outreach as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of South Carolina.
• Knowledge of professional standards of care and medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical care to patients in accordance with standards of care and hospital policies.
• Provide call coverage for the Office(s) as scheduled.
• Provide uncompensated days of ED call coverage for the Hospital(s) per month as required by bylaws and specialty.
• Provide outpatient care in offices and inpatient care at the hospital.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation for all professional services.
• Participate in marketing/public relations as required.
