Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant for Aiken Physicians Alliance. You will interview patients, record vitals, perform venipuncture as directed, and prepare exam rooms under physician supervision.

You will also assist with front desk coverage and ensure documentation in the Electronic Medical Record complies with IPM guidelines. The role requires a Medical Assistant credential or completion of an accredited program, High School diploma, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measures vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight/height).
• Venipuncture and procedures as directed by the physician within state scope of practice.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examination; document in EMR per IPM guidelines.
• Assist in front desk coverage as needed.
