Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver primary care in the Greater Sacramento area. The role emphasizes serving diverse, underserved populations in a community health setting, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and providing comprehensive preventive and acute care.

The position offers a competitive $131,000–$170,000 annual compensation, with standard 8–5 hours or a 4x10 option,

Qualifications

• Active CA PA license required.
• NCCPA board certification required.
• Current DEA license and BLS certification.
• 1–2 years clinical experience preferred in community health.
• Fluency in English and another language (Spanish or related) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
