Job summary

Power Health Colorado is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary medical team for full-time clinical work across musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation care.

You will collaborate with PM&R physicians, coordinate care across disciplines, and travel between Aurora, Brighton, Wheat Ridge, and North Colorado locations. The role emphasizes independent practice within a collaborative, high-volume clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain, if required for assigned responsibilities.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate physician collaboration and escalation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to regularly travel between clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive new-patient evaluations and established-patient follow-up visits under supervision and collaboration of our physicians.
• Obtain and document detailed histories and physical examinations, including musculoskeletal and neurologic assessments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Evaluate patients with neck/back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, radiculopathy, and related conditions.
• Order and review diagnostic studies including X-rays, MRI, CT, and electrodiagnostic tests.
• Assist with EMG/NCS and electrodiagnostic workflows as appropriate.
• Assist physicians with approved office-based procedures.
• Provide pre/post-procedure evaluations and follow-up for interventional care.
• Coordinate care with PM&R physicians, therapists, chiropractors, and case management.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, and rehabilitation expectations.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure medical necessity and billing compliance.
• Communicate with physicians and staff across the care team.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality initiatives, and workflow development.
• Maintain productivity and patient-experience standards.
• Travel between Power Health Colorado locations for coverage.
