Job summary

AFC Urgent Care San Diego is seeking a Per-Diem Physician Assistant to join our Granada Hills, California team. The position offers a walk-in urgent care environment with on-site lab and x-ray support and a flexible schedule.

Qualified candidates hold an unrestricted California medical license, a DEA certificate, NCCPA board certification, and at least one year of ER/Urgent Care/Primary Care experience. Availability for day, evening and weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in ER/Urgent Care/Primary Care
• Comfort with minor procedures and pediatric/adult patients

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services including suturing lacerations and abscess drainage as needed
• Workday, evening and weekend shifts as required
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality care in a walk-in setting
• Collaborate with a team to deliver patient-centered care

We are seeking a Per-Diem Physician Assistant to join our Team in Granada Hills, California.

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• Must be NCCPA Board Certified
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
• Available to workday, evening and weekend shifts.
