Job summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a Per-Diem Physician Assistant to join our Granada Hills, CA team. We provide episodic care with on-site labs and X-rays, available seven days a week for walk-ins.

Requirements include California medical license, DEA, NCCPA board certification, and 1+ year in ER/Urgent/Primary care, plus comfort with minor procedures. Flexible shifts with overtime pay and performance bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• DEA Certificate required.
• NCCPA Board Certified required.
• At least one year of ER/Urgent Care/Primary Care experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, draining abscesses).

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• Must be NCCPA Board Certified
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
• Available to workday, evening and weekend shifts.
