Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks a compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery team.

You will provide first assisting in the operating room and support the inpatient service, caring for patients from newborns to young adults with congenital and acquired heart conditions. Our team includes three pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons and four advanced practice providers, with a flexible schedule option such as 4x10s or 5x8s, and

Responsibilities

• First assisting in the OR and the inpatient service.
• Procedures performed include chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, central lines and wound vac management.
• Call rotation responsibilities to cover IP/OR/ECMO.
• Education with bedside nursing as well as patients/families.
