Qualifications

• Active PA license(s) in state(s) of practice.
• National board certification from NCCPA.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and determine treatment plans appropriate for age and clinical condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe interventions.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and refer as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure compliant coding/billing.
