Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology

Pay Range: $162,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Well known dermatology practice in Newport Beach is looking for a highly-motivated and energetic Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who has a minimum of 3 years experience in dermatology doing shave biopsies, punch biopsies, doing full body skin examinations, acne treatments, evaluating rashes, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and managing SCCs, BCCs, and atypical moles and other related tasks under supervision of Managing Dermatologist. In this position, you will report directly to the Medical Director who is extremely detail-oriented with very high standards for quality, productivity and success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical dermatologic care to 30-34 patients per day
• Document visit notes into EMR (EMA modernizing medicine Derm-specific EMR)
• Signing off on clinic notes daily
• Signing off on pathology results of your patients' daily
• Performing shave biopsies of suspected atypical moles, SCCs, BCCs or other malignant lesions on skin exams
• Performing LN2 treatments to AKs, ISKs or warts as needed for patients
• Consulting with new and follow up patients on the treatment of their skin concerns
