Job summary

Advanced Dermatology Care in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a part-time role. The clinician will work independently in both medical/surgical dermatology, delivering patient-centered care and cosmetic procedures when appropriate.

The role requires at least 2 years of dermatology experience, an active CA PA-C or NP license, and DEA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of independent clinical and surgical dermatology experience as a PA or NP.
• Active CA PA-C or NP license in good standing.
• Active DEA license and Board Certification (NCCPA for PAs or AANP/ANCC for NPs).
• Strong procedural capability and EMR proficiency; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive full-body skin examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions (acne, rosacea, rashes, warts, psoriasis, eczema).
• Identify and manage skin cancers (BCC, SCC, precursor lesions).
• Perform biopsies, destruction procedures, and minor surgeries independently.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications.

Advanced Dermatology Care is looking for a skilled, independent, and passionate Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team in Agoura Hills, CA.

This is an exciting part-time opportunity for a practice-ready clinician to deliver exceptional care in a dynamic, specialty-focused dermatology practice. Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Surgical Dermatology

• Perform comprehensive full-body skin examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of common skin conditions (acne, rosacea, rashes, warts, psoriasis, eczema, etc.).
• Confidently identify and manage skin cancers (BCC, SCC, and precursor lesions).
• Perform diagnostic biopsies, destruction procedures, and minor surgical procedures independently.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe necessary medications and therapies.

Cosmetics & Aesthetics (Preferred)

• Administer neurotoxins and dermal fillers with a natural, skilled approach.
• Perform aesthetic procedures including PRP therapy, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
• Provide personalized cosmetic consultations and skincare recommendations.

Patient Care & Administration

• Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and clinical staff to maintain exceptional quality of care.
• Accurately document patient encounters and maintain medical records using our EMR system.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct, independent clinical and surgical dermatology experience as a PA or NP.
• Licensure: Current, active PA-C or NP license in the state of California in good standing.
• Certifications: Active DEA license and Board Certification (NCCPA for PAs or AANP/ANCC for NPs).
• Skills: Strong procedural capability, excellent EMR proficiency, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
