Job summary

UPMC GoHealth Urgent Care seeks experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for weekend coverage (Saturday & Sunday) in the greater Pittsburgh area and across PA and WV. The role includes a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, access to EPIC EMR, on-site X-ray, and POC testing, within a collaborative, fast-growing network.

Candidates should have 1 year in Emergency Medicine or 2 in Urgent Care, with newborn care experience. PAs require NCCPA; NPs require ANCC/AANP certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years in Urgent Care.
• 2 years of Family Medicine experience may be considered.
• Comfortable with sutures, casts, splints, etc.
• Experience treating newborns and older in acute care settings.
• PAs: Master’s degree and NCCPA certification; NPs: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services at UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care centers.
• Collaborate with clinical staff including Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a team leader.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility, including weekends, with primary anchor/home center assignments.
• Utilize EPIC EMR, perform on-site POC testing and X-ray when needed.
