Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care invites experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join the UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care team in the Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 provide opportunities for professional growth and teamwork.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree, the appropriate certification (NCCPA for PAs or ANCC/AANP for NPs), and emergency or urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years in Urgent Care; will consider 2 years in Family Medicine.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care with weekend scheduling and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Engage in shared decision-making to deliver high-quality urgent care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPIC EMR, POC testing, and imaging workflows.

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
