Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area seeks experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for Weekend Warrior roles (Saturday and Sunday) within the UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care network across PA and WV. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered to eligible candidates.

Join a collaborative clinical team at EPIC EMR centers with on-site X-ray and POC testing, supporting diverse urgent care needs and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• 1 year full-time emergency medicine or 2 years urgent care experience.
• Comfort with minor procedures and initial reads on EKGs/X-rays.
• Experience treating newborns and up in acute care settings.
• PA or NP master’s degree with corresponding certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend urgent care coverage (Sat & Sun) in GoHealth Urgent Care centers.
• Collaborate with Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Deliver high-quality patient care across multiple PA/NP cases.
• Engage in continued learning and sharing experiences with the team.

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
