Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh region and sites across Pennsylvania and West Virginia seeks experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for Per Diem urgent care coverage. You will join a network partnered with UPMC Health System and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care at multiple centers.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree with NCCPA (PA) or ANCC/AANP (NP) certification, plus EM (1 year) or urgent care (2 years) experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time EM experience or 2 years urgent care experience.
• Suturing, casting, splints, and interpretation of EKGs/X-rays familiarization.
• PA or NP credentials with the respective certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients with varied conditions.
• Perform minor procedures and clear preliminary reads on imaging.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants within the team.

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages newborn and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
