Job summary

MVPC is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Denver team, evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic pain in a collaborative, physician-led setting.

You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and assist with in-office procedures such as joint injections and nerve blocks, with training provided as needed. A Colorado license or eligibility is required, ACLS/BLS, and DEA for NPs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
  • Current Colorado state licensure or eligibility.
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or neurosurgery preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and empathy.
  • Must obtain ACLS and BLS (in person or hybrid).
  • Nurse Practitioners must have their DEA upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and review of diagnostic imaging
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including referrals for conservative therapy or interventional procedures
  • Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens in compliance with practice, state, and federal guidelines
  • Perform and/or assist with in‑office procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections (training provided as needed)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other care providers to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes

Position Overview

MVPC is seeking a compassionate, driven Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Denver, CO. Clinic Hours
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
