Medrina, a physician-owned group, is expanding in Virginia and seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will focus on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, collaborating with a lead provider.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, a strong work-life balance, and autonomy within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PA license.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start.
• Minimum 1 year of PA experience in SNF/geriatrics/rehab.
• Experience caring for adult/geriatric patients.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management.
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients including assessments and treatment planning.
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab, post-stroke care, and chronic pain.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.

We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Fairfax, VAseekingan experienced Physician Assistantto join our team in aSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, working alongside a collaborative lead provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care toSNFpatients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
• Ensureaccurateandtimelydocumentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant (PA)license in Virginia
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)-Required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a PA(SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred)
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• Background in internal medicine, geriatrics, or physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Experience with orthopedic, stroke, or pain management patients

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
