Medrina is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our physician-owned group in Virginia, focusing on SNF post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery and stroke management.

The role collaborates with a lead provider, offers full patient load from day one, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for mentorship. Schedule is Mon-Fri, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Virginia.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start.
• Minimum 1 year NP experience (SNF/geriatrics preferred).
• Experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Ability to work independently in SNF setting.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Manage orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.

Required Qualifications

• ActiveNurse Practitioner (NP)license in Virginia
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)-Required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an NP(SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred)
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• Background in internal medicine, geriatrics, or physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Experience with orthopedic, stroke, or pain management patients

• Full-Time (4-5 days per week)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
• Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
