Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality medical care within an interdisciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans, order and interpret tests, prescribe therapies, and participate in education and preventive care.

You will document in electronic medical records, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and participate in quality initiatives. Illinois practice requires active PA license, board certification, and DEA registration;

Qualifications

• Active PA license in state(s) of practice.
• Active PA national board certification (NCCPA).
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois CS License if practicing in Illinois.
• BL S and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by practice.
• Bachelors Degree in Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for patients.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and therapies.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and refer when needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and compliant coding/billing.
• Participate in quality, safety, and education initiatives.
• Maintain productivity and timely patient care delivery.
