• Knowledge of general medicine and care plan development.
• Knowledge of ICF/IID standards and HHSC policies.
• Ability to examine, diagnose and treat physical/mental disorders.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Maintenance of required Medical Education hours.

Responsibilities

• Attends work regularly and follows assigned shift schedule.
• Provides medical services and treatment to the assigned caseload.
• Prescribes medications as necessary and completes care documentation.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and family.
• May participate in disaster response or COOP activities.
