Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant FLOAT to support Sacramento-area clinics, covering multiple sites with a no-night, no-weekend schedule in many centers. You will perform medical assessments, order diagnostics, and implement patient management plans within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a health field from an accredited college/university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies; graduate of an accredited program.
• Passion to maintain PANCE certification.
• Active PA license in the state of practice and in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assessments across multiple centers.
• Examines patient, compiles medical data and exam results.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interprets test results and manages treatment plans.
• Provides injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Counsels patients on treatment adherence and health maintenance.
• Maintains documentation and continuity of care across centers.
• Adheres to occupational health policies and CMOs directions.
