Physician Assistant Fellow/Resident - Urological Surgery

Position Summary

This is a full-time fellowship/residency within a division or department, providing an opportunity for continued education and practical development.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Experience a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, observation, and peri-operative practice within the BJC Healthcare system.
  • Participate in weekly continuing education sessions, quality improvement, and research projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

Includes a normal office environment and patient care settings. Physical efforts involve sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements. Equipment used includes office and clinical/diagnostic equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Certifications in BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross), PA licensure in Illinois and Missouri, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • No specific work experience required.
Additional Requirements
  • Current PA licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support certification (skills assessment required).
Preferred Qualifications

No additional qualifications beyond the required ones.
