Kettering College seeks a Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies to lead curriculum development, assessment, and program quality. This senior role requires advancing ARC-PA accreditation readiness, mentoring faculty, and ensuring alignment with college mission and student outcomes.

The chair will collaborate with committees, supervise clinical education, and guide program administration to support student success and scholarly activity within PA education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant or a related healthcare degree.
• Clinical PA practice experience of at least 3 years.
• 4+ years teaching at postsecondary level, preferably PA program.
• Experience with curriculum design, student assessment, and accreditation standards.

Responsabilités

• Align PAS department with college mission and goals.
• Lead outcomes assessment and program evaluation activities.
• Oversee hiring, supervision, and workload of faculty.
• Engage in accreditation efforts and reporting.
• Provide academic advising and faculty development.
