Kettering Health Network seeks an accomplished academic leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Kettering College. The role directs 12 faculty, oversees curriculum development, assessment, and ARC-PA accreditation activities, and partners with college and health-system leadership to advance the program and community impact.

This leader will drive student success, faculty development, and continuous program improvement while aligning with institutional goals

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum four years teaching experience.
• Minimum three years of clinical PA experience.
• Ohio PA licensure or eligibility and NCCPA certification required.
• BLS and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and operational leadership for the PA program, supporting faculty, students, curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation activities.
• Oversee approximately 12 faculty members and foster collaborative, supportive environment for faculty engagement and student success.
• Lead ongoing program assessment and ARC-PA compliance, using data to guide curriculum and outcomes improvements.
• Guide curriculum refinement to keep coursework current and evidence-based, aligned with profession and community needs.
• Partner with college and health system leadership to advance the PA program’s role and growth within Kettering Health.
