Qualifications

• Active NY Medicaid and Medicare ID.
• EMR experience.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in NY.
• At least 1 year experience in urgent care or primary care with diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Discuss patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and medications.
• Ask situational questions to ensure appropriate care.
• Formulate treatment plans for non-threatening conditions.
• Prescribe diagnostic tests to aid accurate diagnoses.
• Explain test results to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and EMR notes.
• Advise on diet and exercise to improve health.
• Assist patients in managing chronic conditions.
• Document thoroughly and timely per standards.
