Job summary

Welltel in New York, a rapidly growing telehealth provider, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant for an in-office Brooklyn role (11219) with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule, Monday–Friday. The PA will assess medical history, manage telemedicine care, and develop personalized treatment plans while maintaining EMR records and supporting patient education.

Qualifications

• Active NY Medicaid and Medicare numbers are required.
• EMR experience is needed to document patient care accurately.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in NY is required.
• At least 1 year in urgent care or primary care is preferred.
• Patient oriented with compassionate disposition and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical history and HPI and address telemedicine concerns.
• Provide personalized care and develop suitable treatment plans.
• Review medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications with patients.
• Prescribe diagnostic tests and explain results to patients.
• Maintain accurate EMR notes and documentation per standards.
• Advise on diet and exercise to improve overall health.
• Assist patients in managing chronic conditions.
