Job summary

Novant Health GoHealth Urgent Care in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking experienced PRN Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join the GoHealth Urgent Care team. We are recruiting for PRN positions only, with no current full-time or part-time opportunities.

Join our GoHealth Urgent Care network partnered with Novant Health to provide urgent care services across the Winston-Salem area. Our centers feature EPIC EMR, on-site X-ray, and rapid POC testing to support efficient, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Be challenged with clinical complexity and wide variety of concerns.
• Engage in shared decision making and problem-solving.
• Enjoy the flow of seeing patients at regular intervals with scheduling programs.
• Collaborate with an on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Extended hour centers offer a shift differential after 8pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.
