Job summary

Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in Winston-Salem, NC seeks experienced PRN Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care team. We currently recruit for PRN positions only, with on-site support and access to EPIC EMR and on-site X-ray for efficient patient care.

Our centers emphasize teamwork and flexible scheduling, with extended hours offering a shift differential after 8pm. If you are dynamic and experienced, we would love to hear from you and discuss opportunities

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Be challenged with a wide variety of clinical concerns.
• Engage in shared decision making and problem-solving.
• See patients at regular intervals with scheduling programs promoting wellness and safe care.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Work in a state-of-the-art center equipped with EPIC EMR, POC testing and On-site X-ray.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.
