A leading urgent care provider in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in challenging clinical environments. Responsibilities include patient care, collaboration with medical staff, and involvement in minor procedures. Qualifications

Overview

Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant - Kernersville (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Be challenged with clinical complexity and a wide variety of concerns. Engage in shared decision making and problem-solving that enlivens your work.
• See patients at regular intervals with scheduling programs that promote wellness, efficiency, and safe care.
• Work in state-of-the-art centers equipped with integrated EPIC EMR, point-of-care testing and on-site X-ray to maximize efficiency and clinical success.
• Collaborate with an on-site radiology technician and medical assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Extended hour centers offer a shift differential after 8pm.

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting.
• Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.

Benefits / Additional Details

Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for full-time Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Locations: Kernersville, NC or NP/PA Float position for Winston-Salem Region. Practice with GoHealth Urgent Care in partnership with Novant Health.
