Job summary

Reston Ear, Nose, & Throat in Northern Virginia is seeking a compassionate PA-C to join our ENT team.

You will work with physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings, diagnose and treat ENT conditions in adults and children, perform in-office procedures, and contribute to patient education and care coordination.

Qualified candidates have PA-C licensure, graduate PA degree, and experience with EMR; strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Graduate degree from an accredited PA program.
• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT.
• Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the managed care of outpatients and inpatients in conjunction with the physicians of Reston ENT.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic ENT diseases including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic means.
• Order diagnostic testing.
• Perform in office procedures such as cerumen removal, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, suture removal, staple removal, dressing change, and biopsies.
• Provide patient education regarding ENT disease processes.
• Participate in monthly call coverage.
• Assist the physicians with pre- and post-op care.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
