Job summary

SENTA Partners is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant for Reston ENT in Reston, VA. The role supports physicians in managing outpatient and selected inpatient ENT care, with emphasis on pediatrics and adults.

Require Master’s PA degree, PA-C license, and 1–2 years ENT experience. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and ability to work independently and within a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA license (PA-C)
• Graduate degree from an accredited PA program
• 1–2 years ENT experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills focused on patient safety and quality care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient with EHRs and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to care for patients of all ages

Responsibilities

• Assist in outpatient and inpatient management with physicians
• Diagnose and treat ENT conditions using medical and procedural approaches
• Order diagnostic testing
• Perform in-office procedures (cerumen removal, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, biopsies)
• Provide patient education on ENT conditions and care
• Support pre- and post-operative care as needed

We are looking for a compassionate and self-motivated individual to join our team. Candidates with 1–2 years of ENT experience are preferred, with a strong dedication to caring for both pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities

• Assist in the managed care of outpatients and inpatients in conjunction with the physicians of Reston ENT
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic ENT diseases including pharmacologic and non- pharmacologic means
• Order diagnostic testing
• Perform in office procedures such as cerumen removal, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, suture removal, staple removal, dressing change, and biopsies
• Provide patient education regarding ENT disease processesParticipate in monthly call coverage
• Assist the physicians with pre- and post-op care

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted licensure as aPhysician Assistant (PA-C)
• Graduate degree through an accredited PA program
• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT
• Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to provide patient care for all age demographics
• Eligible for hospital privileges
