Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient evaluations, review pretreatment teaching, recommend therapeutic interventions, counsel patients and families, and collaborate with physicians.
2. Manage patient care as the primary point of contact, including admissions, discharges, and documentation.
3. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, coordinate care with care management, and provide care for lung transplant patients.
4. Coordinate clinic operations and participate in department reviews, outreach activities, and quality workgroups.
5. Precept and educate new staff and participate in academic activities.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by Medical Director or Management.

Qualifications:

• Degree as a Physician Assistant with a background in pre-med.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a related area or specialty.
• Licenses and certifications: AZ PA License, NCCPA certification, DEA registration, AHA ACLS, and BLS for healthcare providers.
